2010 was game changing for many industries; primarily because of economic repositioning. Global PBS was no exception. Our business plan dictates a ‘hub & spoke’ business model which requires a strategic partnership launch to commercialization for each new pest sensor type. We have not changed that model, but we will take exception with the strategic partner requirement for the initial product launch.
In 2010 we realized a growing urgency to support the hotel segment of the hospitality industry to early detect bed bugs. Early warning of these pests will help best method practices (BMP) to be more effective. So, Global PBS is preparing to seek R&D funding to develop and test a bed bug sensor network for likely deployment in the winter of 2011/2012.
