20 04 2009

Global PBS has been invited to San Jose, California to attend the 2009 Numenta HTM Workshop on June 25, 2009. The workshop is dedicated to exploring Hierarchical Temporal Memory (HTM) and the Numenta Platform for Intelligent Computing (NuPIC). The global learning system (GLS) component of our detection technology will employ artificial intelligence which may be based on the Numenta model.

Dr. Richard Mankin, research entomologist, has been collaborating with Global PBS on polymodal biological sensor (PBS) technology since August 2004 and has agreed to represent Global PBS  at the HTM Conference. He has also accepted an offer from Numenta’s CEO, Donna Dubinsky,  to participate in the ‘lightning talk’ portion of the event where he will present a brief presentation on PBS technology.
